It's not geared specifically to towards Article Marketing but it's an invaluable tool in any article marketers' toolkit. The premise of the software is to show and track the search engine position of your websites for a range of keywords, simple as that. The power lies in its simplicity though. It can show the Google position, the Yahoo position and the Bing position for any website URL, and track it.

Have you ever wondered what the Google position of your site was for a keyphrase. To do this manually you'd need to enter your keyphrase and then search each page returned by Google for your site until you find it in the listings. That's fine until you need this information for a list of keyphrases, then it starts to get monotonous. What about checking the main Google site AND then any country specific sites relevant to you. You can see that this is going to get tiresome pretty quickly. Oh, and then there's Yahoo and Bing to think about.

That's what Magic Rank Tracker does for you, and it makes it SO easy. You enter your website URL and a list of keyphrases and send the program off to check the main Google, Yahoo and Bing sites for the position of the website in the returned listings. There's also over 100 country specific sites included in the list and these can be added to the list of search engines to check with a simple click. The program will return the current ranking of that website in the search engine listing for all selected engines.

It gets better, the program will save these positions in it's database and can then report on any differences in position from the last run showing you the effectiveness of your SEO procedures over time. You can add or delete keywords in the list at any time and the program will even check your competitors websites for keywords and make suggestions for you to add to your list. I'm not sure of the effectiveness of the suggested keywords feature, it tends to return a very large list that may overwhelm.
